What changed
The What's happening strip on UK station boards now includes National Rail official notices tagged Official, alongside passenger tips. Official messages no longer appear in a separate notices strip when What's happening is enabled. Passenger posts are stored in a dedicated Neon Postgres database instead of shared key-value cache, so the feed stays available at busy stations.
Why it matters
You see verified network disruption text in the same chronological feed as crowd-sourced tips, clearly labelled. Moving passenger posts to Postgres stops them competing with departure board caches for storage space.
